The Kalor Tech Wi-Fi thermostats work in Canada and will display the temperature in Fahrenheit. Rest assured that our custom-designed wall plate will also fit the electrical box, as the size is the same for standard boxes in the US. If you prefer a thermostats in Celsius, please send us an email at sales@kalortech.ideasolver.com, and will try to accommodate you, while we expand our line of thermostats in Celsius. NOTE: while the display is in Fahrenheit, Alexa and Google devices will report and receive commands in Celsius.
Only Kalor Tech offers with all 603H thermostats an accompanying wall plate that fits standard electrical boxes in the US. Rest assured that your installed thermostat will look sleek, modern, and professional after completing installation. We also provide extensive and detailed installation instructions in easy-to-understand English, so that practically anyone with average experience can install our thermostats. We do, however, stress the importance of being a qualified installer to avoid injury.
Yes, the device can be calibrated by following the steps below:
- On the app, turn the device off.
- Go to Settings, and select Temperature Correction.
- Change the default from -2 to the adjusted correction, whether it's -4, -5, or -6.
- Select Confirm (if the device is on, it may not need confirmation).
- Return to the device's main screen and turn it on. Assess whether the correction was sufficient or whether further adjustments need to be made.
NOTE: A two to three degree differential is considered acceptable. Ensure that the device used for comparison is functioning appropriately as well.

Kalor Tech Wi-Fi thermostats are for electrical baseboard heaters in the 120-240V range with maximum outputs of 16 Amps per circuit. If you currently have thermostats managing each room in your house, Kalor Tech Wi-Fi thermostats are likely to replace those without any issue. If you are unsure, please consult a qualified installer or electrician. One simple way of checking is to see whether your current thermostat box has thin wire of multiple colors, or whether the current thermostat is connected to a thick black and white wire, with a ground wire in the box as well.
There are programmable thermostats that you can manage only from the device itself, making it impractical in today's technology world. Kalor Tech Wi-Fi thermostats are not only programmable but also "SMART", which allows for control from anywhere in the world, providing you with peace of mind, absolute control, and significant savings as you determine when and how to operate your baseboard heaters.
You can manage multiple thermostats by creating a group in the Tuya or Smart Life application and adding the thermostats you wish to manage to that group. You can then use voice commands in the Alexa or Google device to manage multiple devices as one.
If you have multiple interconnected baseboard heaters in a large room, they are probably controlled by a single non-programmable thermostat in that room, which you can replace with a Kalor Tech Wi-Fi thermostat to manage them at the same time.
No, Kalor Tech thermostat don't require a "C" wire. They do, however, require that your system be in the 120 to 240V range. Kalor Tech thermostats are not for low voltage systems, such as 24V systems, which are typical in home central heating systems.

When the power and Wi-Fi return, the unit should reset on its own. No need to reset it manually. The concept of Wi-Fi smart thermostat is that you can manage it remotely and power failures do no impeded continued management of the devices. Thank you for your inquiry!
The KALOR TECH thermostat will work on voltages up to 240, and only requires that the live, neutral and load lines be connected in the electrical box.

Yes, a radiant floor heat sensor can be attached. We suggest the KALOR TECH radiant floor heat sensor, which can be found here. It attaches to terminals 5 and 6.
